ABOUT ME

Writer . Illustrator. Animator. Storyboard Artist

Ever since I was little my life and who I am has been shaped by the people around me and the experiences I have had. No art form has influenced who I have become more than animation. Whether it be cartoons, films, or videogames I found myself in love with visual storytelling and the art of bringing life to 2d characters.

It is this unending love and admiration for an industry that strives for and supports creativity that I have chosen to pursue a career in Illustration Pre-Production for Animation. I am currently working towards a BFA at California State University Long Beach, and am actively looking for and seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge, skillset, and understanding of the animation industry at large on both the production and artistic side.

Through my time in college so far I have aquired advanced knowledge and understanding of film production, with emphasis in script supervising, script coverage, and scriptwriting. I have experience working with audio production, lighting, and cinematography on multiple film sets as well. It is with a growing understanding and study of character design and storyboarding that I actively pursue the career path I am hoping to make lifelong.

It is with this goal in mind, to gain experience in the animation industry, that I continue to reach out and pursue animation internships for production, artistic roles, and for scriptwriting as well.

What I truly wish to do with my life and through animation is to give everyone the opportunity to have their story heard, to give everyone the opportunity to see themselves represented by the people on their screen. Because at the end of the day, I believe that the single most important thing we can do through art and as people is to simply and truly listen. And that is the idea I want to actively engage and promote in my art.

Wish me luck.

P.S. or better yet, come get in contact with me, and help me get to this point one step at a time. I will always be eternally grateful for the help to bring everything I can to the art of storytelling.
